Bees are magical, lets face it, they buzz around happily, working hard to make sweet, delicious nectar that make lots of people happy… wait a minute.. that’s basically how I live my life!! Am I a Beeeeee??? I think I’m AM a Beeee!! Well, I’m not a queen bee lol.. definitely a lil’ old worker bee.. hahaha<\/p>\n

But I love being a bee, I’m happiest when I’m making delicious things for people and making them happy. The biggest reward for me in life is to see the happiness and joy my creations bring, whether it’s food, or costumes or art or photography or even performances… it’s what keeps me going and gives ME a buzz \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

I created these adorable cupcakes for a Bee Themed Party. They are vanilla bean cupcakes with lots of vanilla bean goodness, topped with a honey buttercream, edible buzzing fondant bees and chocolate honeycomb. I wanted to get a buzzing look on the cupcakes so I put some of the bees on a curly wire sitting proud of the cupcake. This is the result.<\/p>\n

Since I posted the pictures on Instagram https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/art_de_cake\/ and my Facebook page https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/artdecake\/ a couple of years ago the images have gone a bit cray cray on Pinterest. Almost on a daily basis I receive enquiries asking how I made them, so recently I had a bit of a window of time so I put together a little video and here it is… finally!!!<\/p>\n
